Division: Pediatrics
Work Arrangement: Onsite only
Location: Houston, TX
Salary Range: $47,372 - $55,731
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Summary
The Coordinator, Program Management provides administrative support for the CNRC Postdoctoral Program and support to the department, including processing purchasing orders, managing travel, and composing correspondence.
Job Duties
  • Assists with CNRC Postdoctoral Fellowship program recruitment, correspondence, and onboarding of new postdocs.
  • Schedules postdoc seminars and related activities, corresponds with seminar presenters and attendees, assists during seminar presentations, and collects and maintains attendance records.
  • Maintains postdoc records including tracking incoming and outgoing postdocs and documenting compliance with postdoc training activities.
  • Maintains postdoc program administrative calendar and updates CNRC Postdoc Fellowship Webpages.
  • Assists Postdoc Program director in conducting surveys and compiling postdoc outcome reports.
  • Prepares and processes purchasing orders of equipment and supplies using SRM and Concur.
  • Maintains spreadsheets for faculty laboratory orders and reimbursements and maintains correspondence and records related to lab purchases and equipment.
  • Manages domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur), including generating faculty travel approval documents and entering faculty travel reimbursements in Concur.
  • Composes formal and informal correspondence for faculty including, but not limited to, presentations.
  • Schedules meetings and maintains calendars for faculty.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in education program management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and judgement.
  • Strong organization skills.
