Work Arrangement: Onsite only
Location: Houston, TX
Salary Range: $47,372 - $55,731
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Summary
The Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Coordinator, Program Management to provide operational and administrative support. The Coordinator serves as an assistant to the program director and supports the administration of the program in accordance with the American Psychological Association's Standards of Accreditation for Health Service Psychology and Accreditation Operating Procedures. This position functions as a "front line" point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and the general public. The ideal candidate has strong written and oral communication, time management, and organizational skills and is able to independently manage and prioritize a variety of tasks.
This position may offer the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule after an initial training period.
Job Duties
  • Assists with the trainee recruitment and interview process, including scheduling interviews and making travel arrangements for candidates.
  • Assists with onboarding new trainees.
  • Receives and responds to all requests for information regarding program(s).
  • Participates in planning and developing methods for program implementation and administration.
  • Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, exams, seminars, training rotations, electives or special electives, duty/call schedules, ceremonies, or events.
  • Establishes and maintains trainee records.
  • Creates, monitors, and tracks documentation of training and educational activities; may assist with grade or evaluation submission.
  • Assists with trainee accreditation.
  • Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, preparing correspondence, answering phones, or greeting visitors.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher education experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
