Job Description Project Manager - Infrastructure (Level 1) Location: Edmonds, BC (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office) Contract: September 14, 2026 - September 11, 2027 Max INC Rate: $74.81/ Max T4 Rate: $61.83/ About the Role Our client, BC Hydro, is seeking a Project Manager - Infrastructure (Level 1) to support the successful delivery of low to medium-risk infrastructure and construction projects. This role is ideal for a project management professional with strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and experience coordinating multiple project activities from planning through execution. Working within a collaborative project environment, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Key Responsibilities Lead low to medium-risk infrastructure and construction projects from initiation through closeout. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, action logs, communication plans, and status reports. Monitor project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and overall project performance.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, planning, quality assurance, and regulatory stakeholders. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, field crews, engineers, customers, and external partners.

Prepare project reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel and Power BI. Analyze large datasets to support project decision-making and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with BC Hydro policies, safety standards, and project management methodologies.

Support project closeout activities, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. Engineering degree considered an asset.

Minimum 3 years of Project or Program Management experience (5+ years preferred). Experience managing project deliverables, schedules, budgets, and project risks. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.

Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience using Power BI for reporting and analytics.

Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.

Infrastructure, utility, or energy industry experience. Contract management experience. Experience using Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
