Job Summary
As a Concept Ideation Analyst III, you will lead the development of innovative Payment Integrity concepts that drive strategic initiatives and business growth. In this role, you will partner across multiple clients, managing the end-to-end client experience while leveraging analytics aligned to client goals to deliver post-pay savings.


You will combine market analysis, creative thinking, and strategic planning to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new market opportunities. This position requires a balance of visionary thinking, analytical rigor, and leadership to help shape the future direction of products and initiatives.


Critical Requirement
Candidates must bring strong experience in both Data Systems and Concept Ideation. At a minimum, they should be able to independently test and validate concepts, with advanced SQL proficiency and the ability to assess technical and analytical feasibility.

A strong foundation in Payment Integrity is essential, including experience researching and identifying trends related to claims payment accuracy. Candidates must also be comfortable working with provider contracts and policies, Medicare guidelines, and state Medicaid regulations.

Role Responsibilities
(80% Individual Contributor / 20% Team Coaching & Solutioning)

  • Strategic Ideation: Lead the development of innovative ideas across products, services, business models, and market strategies, while fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
  • Market Insights: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, customer insights, and emerging opportunities.
  • Concept Development: Create comprehensive concept proposals, including value propositions, business cases, target segments, and go-to-market strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, sales, and other teams to refine concepts, gather feedback, and drive alignment. Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions.
  • Feasibility Assessment: Evaluate technical, operational, and financial viability of concepts, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop innovation roadmaps, define key milestones, and establish success metrics.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovation best practices.
  • Client Management: Support multiple clients by delivering analytics, financial insights, ideation support, and solutions to complex challenges.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Oversee the full ideation lifecycle—from concept development through testing, validation, and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in concept development, innovation, strategic planning, or similar roles in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • Demonstrated success leading ideation initiatives and bringing concepts to market
  • Strong Data Systems experience, including advanced SQL and hands-on concept validation
  • Experience with agile methodologies and lean startup principles
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and their practical applications
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative market research
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision) is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future trends and opportunities
