What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Program Integrator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Program Integrator, you need expertise in project management, systems integration, and a relevant bachelor's degree, often in engineering, business, or a related field. Familiarity with project management software (such as MS Project or Jira), process mapping tools, and certifications like PMP or Six Sigma are commonly required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills help ensure alignment and collaboration across teams. These abilities are essential for coordinating complex projects, minimizing integration risks, and delivering successful program outcomes.

How does a Program Integrator typically collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success?

Program Integrators play a key role in bridging communication between engineering, project management, and other functional teams. They coordinate schedules, track progress, and facilitate the resolution of issues that could impact project timelines or goals. This role often requires regular meetings, status updates, and the creation of clear documentation to ensure all stakeholders are aligned. Effective Program Integrators foster a collaborative environment by anticipating potential roadblocks and proactively engaging the right experts to address them.

What is a Program Integrator?

A Program Integrator is a professional responsible for coordinating and aligning various elements of a program or project to ensure all parts work together effectively. They manage communication between teams, track project progress, and help resolve issues that arise between different departments or stakeholders. Program Integrators often work in industries like defense, aerospace, and technology, where complex projects require careful synchronization of resources, schedules, and technical requirements. Their goal is to ensure the program meets its objectives on time and within budget.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

Job description

H-1 Program Integrator

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)

The H-1 Program Integrator supports the H1 Program Director by coordinating crossfunctional activities and ensuring leadership receives accurate, aligned, and decisionready information. This role integrates inputs across production, engineering, sustainment, finance, contracts, and international teams, preparing leadership for internal and external engagements. Domestically, this includes the US Government (USG) and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) as the primary acquisition authority; internationally, this includes foreign military customers across active FMS and DCS program lines. The integrator validates data, challenges assumptions, and creates clear executivelevel content for internal and external reviews. Recognizing a wide range of program challenges, the Program Integrator evaluates crossfunctional inputs, validates the accuracy of technical, schedule, financial, and sustainment data, and engages IPTs with targeted, insightful questions across both domestic (USMC) and international (Bahrain, Czech Republic, Nigeria, Ukraine) program lines.

Success in this role is defined by anticipation. Knowing what leadership will need before they ask, identifying problems before they surface in reviews, and keeping the program one step ahead of its challenges. This role demands a proactive daily approach through communication and the discipline to operate with minimal direction across a complex, multi-customer program.

What you'll be doing as the H-1 Program Integrator

  • Maintain a proactive daily approach by beginning each day with an active scan of program health across schedule, cost, open actions, and customer commitments, and brief the Program Director with a current situational picture.

  • Anticipate preparation needs for upcoming reviews, customer engagements, and leadership forums; begin staffing inputs well in advance of deadlines.

  • Prepare executiveready briefs and talking points that clearly communicate: Help Needed/Decision Required, Problem, Root Cause (Why), Risk/Impact, and Mitigation.

  • Apply sound judgment to identify issues early, clarify inconsistencies, and drive actions that ensure the information prepared for leadership is complete, accurate, and aligned with program objectives.

  • Validate and query crossfunctional data, resolve IPT discrepancies, and ensure the data tells a clear, leadership-ready story.

  • Prepare leaders for customer/partner engagements with aligned messaging and verified data.

  •  Facilitate the full spectrum of monthly program reviews: IPT-level functional reviews, Program-level reviews (MORs, QBRs, Strategic Reviews, SLT updates, Program Town Halls, and internal PMRs), and Military Fielded Program reviews aligned to USMC operational and sustainment requirements.

  •  Validate completeness and consistency of crossfunctional inputs, challenge assumptions and close gaps ahead of every leadership forum.  Maintain action trackers, risk/issue logs, SharePoint documentation standards, and coalesce for historical tracking.

  •  Manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally. This includs IPT leads, functional managers, executive leadership, USG/NAVAIR, and international military customers.

  • Respond to RFIs from Textron Washington Office and Bell Sales & Strategy in a timely manner with vetted program data.

  •  Work with USG and international partners to plan and execute successful customer and supplier engagements as required.

  •  Represent the Program Director in internal meetings and working groups as delegated.

  • Coordinate domestic (USMC/NAVAIR) program activities, ensuring production, fielding, and sustainment activities are synchronized with Engineering and Operations deliverables.

  • Integrate international program activities across Bahrain, Czech Republic, Nigeria, and Ukraine by surfacing cross-program dependencies, schedule risks, and customer-specific requirements in support of FMS/DCS case management.

  •   Monitor geopolitical, policy, and regulatory developments (e.g., ITAR/EAR, export licensing) that may impact international program execution.     Support proposal management process coordination by partnering with the Contracts and Proposal Management team to shepherd each proposal effort through the full lifecycle, ensuring cross-functional inputs are integrated, schedules are maintained, and leadership has timely visibility into proposal status and decisions required via the gated process.

  •  Support Team Viper / Venom (TVV) consortium coordination on behalf of the Program Director through tracking partner commitments, supporting joint industry reviews, and ensuring accurate information flow between Bell program leadership and consortium partners as required.

  • Own and maintain the H-1 Program SharePoint site by providing active care and feeding to ensure the site is current, organized, accessible, and governed to program standards. Manage access permissions, user provisioning, and documentation version control.

  • Support the Digital Transformation Team with AIenabled SharePoint tools, serving as POC with program personnel, IT, and Operations for capability rollouts and policy updates.

  •   Support, coordinate, and manage H-1 program requirements for leadership offsites, training, and engagement activities in conjunction with Bell Sales & Strategy.

  •  Provide leadership and IPT support by compiling white papers and supporting documentation as required.

Skills You Bring to this Role:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 5 years of experience in aerospace/defense, military programs, or program/project operations (U.S. Government/DoD or defense contractor experience strongly preferred).

  • Ability to obtain an active Secret clearance required

  • Experience preparing executive content and supporting complex technical or schedule-driven programs.

  • Proven data rigor: validate accuracy, challenge assumptions, and resolve inconsistencies.

  • Prior USMC officer service strongly preferred. H-1 platform familiarity or rotary-wing aviation background is a significant differentiator. Experience in a joint, interagency, or foreign military sales environment is a plus.

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal leadership, Team Viper/Venom partners, and USG/NAVAIR/International teams.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.

  • Ability to work autonomously, anticipate leadership needs, and deliver accurate, decisionready information.

  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) preferred.

  • Travel as required (e.g., quarterly domestic and international).

What we offer you in return:

  •  You'll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule

  • 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)

  • 120 hours Vacation time

  • 12-13 paid holidays per year

  • 6 weeks parental leave

  • Tuition reimbursement

  • Competitive salary

  • Comprehensive health insurance

  • On-site clinic, pharmacy, physical therapy, and licensed counselor

  • Access to more than 11 Employee Resource Groups

  • And so much more

It's time to make your mark on the future of aviation. Join us on this mission, and let's make history together.
