Job description

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you'll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.
Responsibilities:
  • Under general supervision, execute intermediate maintenance activities.
  • Operate assigned equipment, facility, utility, and HVAC Systems in accordance with established guidelines and operating procedures.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and employ basic predictive technologies to identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions for equipment problems or to diagnose equipment problems.
  • Execute intermediate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on manufacturing, utility, HVAC, and facility systems.
  • Operate and monitor assigned plant support and production equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform routine inspections, housekeeping activities, and equipment cleaning.
  • Accurately complete work orders, operational logs, and maintenance documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory systems for assigned equipment.
  • Support start-up and commissioning of new equipment to ensure mechanical design specifications are met.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with Operations to minimize production impact.
  • Perform intermediate troubleshooting on utility, process, and HVAC systems.
  • Assist in evaluating and improving maintenance procedures and reliability programs.
  • Develop, revise, and review SOPs, job plans, and work plans as required.
  • Maintain current cGMP training documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required.
  • Utilize basic predictive maintenance technologies (alignment, vibration, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree and 2 years of Maintenance experience.
  • Diaphragms and Gaskets replacement skills
  • Mechanical Pump Seal Replacement
  • Autoclave/Glasswasher skills
  • Maximo Software knowledge
  • Technical Documentation skills
  • Lock out/Tag out skills
  • Knowledgeable of one or more of the following technical areas: Utility Plant Operations/ Maintenance, Process Equipment/ System Maintenance, HVAC Operations/ Maintenance, or Fire System.
  • Utility Plant Technician Competencies:
    • Central Utility Plant Operational, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of miscellaneous equipment (WFI Still, Clean Steam Generator, Purified Production Units, Water Distribution Systems, Water Softeners, Emergency Power Systems, and UPS).
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Available for 3rd shift
