Job description

Camp Program Specialist (DEMNS)
Through Leading Youth Through Empowerment, this Member will serve at Delaware Museum of Nature and Science. This member will assist in strengthening educational programming infrastructure by supporting curriculum development, operational systems, and inclusive learning practices. The member will contribute to the creation of training resources, communication tools, organizational systems, and evaluation processes that improve efficiency, accessibility, and participant experience across camp programming.
Member Duties : Assist in developing, documenting, and refining lesson plans, crafts, and activity curricula in collaboration with staff. Support the creation of tools and resources that promote inclusive, engaging, and inquiry-based learning environments. Help improve systems for program setup, material organization, and space utilization to increase operational efficiency. Assist in documenting communication protocols that streamline coordination between program staff. Support the development of inclusive practices and accommodation strategies for diverse learners. Contribute to data collection, recordkeeping systems, and evaluation processes that improve programming outcomes. Assist in documenting and enhancing safety procedures and training materials for staff and volunteers.
