Essential functions (job duties):
Job Description:
The Project Manager of Program Evaluation and Strategic Initiatives supports operational excellence and strategic development of the program by overseeing data systems, technology tools, program evaluation, and initiatives focused on student engagement and success. This position ensures that data-driven decision-making, seamless technology integration, and continuous program improvement remain central to the student experience. This position will report to the Associate Director, Student Experience and Cultural Engagement. This is a grant-funded position.
Data and Technology Management
  • Create, maintain, and optimize program databases, dashboards, and digital records.
  • Utilize tools such as Qualtrics, Google Workspace, Excel, and CRM systems to manage student information and program activity tracking.
  • Create and administer surveys, interest forms, application forms, and feedback tools.
  • Assist with website updates and digital content regarding program information and student opportunities.
  • Generate, manage, and safeguard reports and data files in accordance with FERPA and privacy guidelines.

Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
  • Support development of evaluation plans, outcomes measurement, and reporting cycles.
  • Monitor and analyze key program metrics, including recruitment, retention, event participation, and student engagement trends.
  • Produce evaluation summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Recommend actionable improvements to enhance student experience, recruitment strategies, and program impact.

Student Initiatives and Engagement
  • Track and assess participation in workshops, events, mentoring, and internship opportunities.
  • Support student feedback loops using surveys, focus groups, and advisory committees.
  • Collaborate with program staff to design new student-centered initiatives based on data insights.

Education: Master's degree
Master's degree required in education,business, social science, information systems, student affairs, publicadministration, computer science/engineering or a related field from anaccredited college or university.
Experience: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)
  • Previous work experience in programevaluation and assessment, including developing or executing evaluation plans,analyzing data, and reporting findings.
  • Experience coordinating projects ormanaging data systems.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, student informationsystems, and CRM platforms.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel/Sheets andsurvey/reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI,Google Data Studio).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
