Program Engineer Technical Facilitator

Reports to:

Program Engineering Supervisor

General Description:

Two focused areas for this position:

  1. Project Facilitator for Program Engineering Group with the focus of non machining program development.
  2. Technical Leader for BOM's and Routers development and modification.

Responsibilities Include:

Project Facilitator

  • Support projects for the engineering group.
    • Not associated with BOM's & Routers Program Development
    • Project Coordination projects that assigned by Program Engineer Supervisor or management.
    • Projects may be in conjunction with Product Project Engineer or separate. Inclusive of Product and customer related projects as assigned by Supervisor or Management
    • Projects in conjunction to CI efforts

Technical Leader - BOM's & Routers

  • Lead the team for pulling new part numbers and new develop BOM's and Routers.
    • Interact with all departments: Sales & Customer Service, All MFG Dept, Quality, Engineering and Purchasing in order to provide accurate Routes and BOM's for manufacture.
  • Lead the team for ensuring Routers and BOM's staying correct in all forms..
    • Identify Mfg variances and progress to improve.
    • Maintain KPI's: est. vs. act variation deviation, std variances reviewed and corrected along with others that may be applicable.
  • Understand machine processes, Furnace, Coating and other plant process flow.
  • Establish and maintain Mastercam time standards
  • Support or utilize 3D printing (preferred)

General Requirement

  • Fully participate in and support the Mersen quality system.
  • Required proficiency with excel and blueprint reading. 
  • Ability to understand technical documents.
  • Knowledge of the appropriate use of material grades.
  • JDE experience is a plus.
