Job description

Schenectady ARC has been providing services to developmentally disabled adults since 1952 and is committed to helping people within the Capital Region enjoy healthy, rewarding lives as members of their community. Schenectady ARC brings staff, families and community together to encourage dreams and respond to each person's life choices by offering high quality services, resources and supports. 

Compensation Range:  $19.70-$26.61

Hours:  Full time, 40 hours/week (on-call rotation required)

The Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential home, including but not limited to the following:
*Scheduling, supervising and training all staff

*Attending Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings and running all staff meetings

*Assisting with medical appointments

*Serving as liaison to families, care providers and all other support staff for individuals living in the home

*Assisting in the development of individual habilitation plans and ensuring treatment plans are complete

*Providing assistance to staff and supervisor(s) with individuals' activities of daily living as needed

*Ensuring pertinent information is communicated to appropriate staff (clinicians, quality assurance, care coordination, etc)

* Ensuring staff complete required documentation

Minimum Qualifications:

*High school diploma or GED (in lieu of diploma/equivalent, a passing score as outlined on standardized tests may be accepted)

* Two (2) years' experience in ID/DD field

* One (1) year of supervisory experience

* Valid NYS driver’s license which meets agency guidelines

Our Differentials are:

* $6.00 Weekend (day and evening shifts)

* $7.50 Weekend Awake Overnight (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

* $1.50 Weekday Awake Overnight (Mon-Thurs)

* $0.50 Weekday Evening (Mon-Thurs)

* Location and/or Certification differentials may also be applicable

* On-call stipend
