Summary:
Acts as primary customer contact for product development projects with responsibility for leading the development team activities to meet the design requirements, program budget and customer satisfaction. May manage multiple, simultaneous programs and customers. Will lead design and transition activities across multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
• Manages and leads development team activities as primary day-to-day contact for small to mid-size customers with stable and relatively simple products and challenges
• Generates Statements of Work, including project cost, schedule, deliverables, dependencies and resources, based on input from the development team
• Leads internal development teams to complete project deliverables on time, with good quality, and within budget, while managing customer expectations and needs
• Develops and ensures compliance to the project plan (schedule, resource and financial)
• Identifies and manages changes in customer requirements, design requirements and internal resource needs
• Analyzes, tracks, and manages program financial performance, including forecasting future revenue, to meet company planning and financial objectives
• Develop knowledge of the customer's product, utilization, strategies and requirements to support launch activity and business development
• Works to assist other development team members, as needed, bringing any issues forward for escalation as required
• Promotes Design for Excellence (DFX) philosophy with customers and internal teams
• Interfaces with customer and supplier engineering groups, as required, to convey technical data and to address technical problems

Compensation Range: $91,755.00 to $114,694.00 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
