Job Summary
The Program Manager will lead the transformation of the citizen development program into an enterprise AI enablement capability for our global organization, enabling business-led innovation by empowering citizen developers and scaling AI tools and solutions across the enterprise. In doing so, this role will drive cross-functional collaboration across Digital Technology, HR L&D, Business Units, functions, and external partners to deliver structured, business-aligned solutions, while leading AI community engagement and organizational enablement efforts.
This role is about more than technology; it's about enabling smarter decisions, fostering an innovative culture, and ensuring responsible use of AI across our global operations, while maintaining a strong understanding of AI platforms, tools, and solution development practices to effectively guide and scale enterprise adoption.
This position is based in Houston, TX.
Position Overview
Your responsibilities may include:
  • Lead the transformation of the enterprise citizen development and AI enablement initiatives across business and technology teams
  • Collaborate with Digital Technology, HR L&D, Cyber Security, Legal, business units, functions, and external partners to align technology solutions with business objectives
  • Drive platform adoption and establish scalable, repeatable enterprise wide operational processes
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of AI and digital transformation programs
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, and AI guardrails to support responsible AI practices
  • Manage the full lifecycle process of the AI user development including intake, use case development, deployment, adoption, and decommissioning
  • Coordinate AI use case portfolio management, including prioritization, execution tracking, and providing guidance on AI tools and solution approaches
  • Develop and own performance metrics, and reporting processes to measure adoption, effectiveness, and value realization
  • Lead enablement efforts through training programs, workshops and community engagement initiatives
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement to support organizational alignment and change management
  • Partner with third-party providers to support platform implementation and operational success
  • Ability to lead small teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency
  • Stay informed on emerging AI technologies, enterprise trends, and industry best practices to drive innovation and strategic growth

Basic Qualifications
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or foreign equivalent in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field
  • 5 or more years of experience of program management or digital transformation
  • 3 or more years of experience working within an IT organization or working across business and technology teams, including IT, Cybersecurity, Data, or related functions
  • 3 or more years of experience with AI technologies, AI governance, and responsible AI practices
  • 3 or more years of experience communicating with stakeholder management
  • Intermediate level of knowledge leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with business units, HR, IT, security and third-party providers
  • Intermediate level of knowledge with enablement programs, training initiatives, and community engagement
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in organizational leadership
  • Intermediate level of knowledge using AI tools and solutions (e.g., Microsoft suite of Copilot's, GitHub Copilot, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Oil and gas industry experience
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, compliance standards, data privacy, and risk management
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI, Responsible AI, and AI governance frameworks
  • Experience working with enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft's Copilot suite of tools, Azure AI, Glean, Power BI, Power Apps, Snowflake Cortex Code, AI coding platforms or similar platforms
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and execution skills
