Summary Job Description
Fundraising in calendar year 2020 to meet budget of $300K, and increase fundraising in subsequent years.
Review and enhance a multi-year development plan which includes annual, major gift, event based and other development campaigns.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement a successful sponsorship and partnership program including achieving budget goals for the Spring and Fall Events, and full year partnerships.
  • Implement a successful annual giving campaign, achieving budget goals.
  • Develop and implement a successful Major Gifts program, to include gifts of $1,000 and more.
  • Work with staff to ensure social media are best utilized to maximize fundraising impact and achieve goals.
  • Enhance donor relations including identification/qualification of prospects, engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors.
  • Obtain grants at budgeted level.
  • Maintain accurate and current donor information in Salesforce; maximize Salesforce capabilities and evaluate/install plug-in enhancements.
  • Review development plan and propose needed changes.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor 's Degree.
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in development or related field.
  • Demonstrated record of fundraising, including indirect and face-to-face solicitation, cultivation and stewardship activities, building donor relationships, closing gifts of $1,000 and more, building a pipeline of engaged donors and maintaining/managing/moving them upwards.
  • Experience in creating and implementing a development plan.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience making impactful group and individual presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
  • Proficiency using fund development databases, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with website and social media.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a small team.
