Job Summary

This position will serve to support the students, activities, and programs related to service learning, community engagement, community-engaged research, internal and external partnerships and community-building for the College of Medicine and among the interprofessional programs of Drexel University.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate students engaged in service learning and community outreach activities
  • Coordinate community organizations involvement, collaboration
  • Manage (including engagement and communication with) internal and external partners
  • Maintain on-site presence and assistance in the office and at community events
  • Order, organize, inventory equipment and supplies for community events  
  • Responds effectively to changing priorities, organizational needs, and evolving community partnerships
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, Canvas or other learning management systems, database systems, and project management software
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and 4 years of experience
  • Knowledge of community health and population health principles
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
