We have an exciting position open in North America: Quality Coordinator reporting to Gopi Reddy Yarkareddy, Quality Engineer III. This position will be based in Auburn, AL.

THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following:

Quality Testing & Verification
  • Perform analytical and quality testing on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process products, and finished goods as required.
  • Conduct sampling, inspection, and testing according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Document test results accurately and maintain quality records.
  • Report quality deviations, non-conformances, and out-of-specification results.
  • Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities when required.
Food Safety & Compliance
  • Conduct routine GMP audits throughout the facility.
  • Verify compliance with prerequisite programs (PRPs), food safety programs, and company policies.
  • Monitor sanitation effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. (microbiology)
  • Assist with internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems.
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Perform scheduled safety compliance audits.
  • Conduct housekeeping inspections throughout production, warehouse, and support areas.
  • Promote compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and elevate concerns to appropriate leadership.
Training Administration
  • Monitor departmental training compliance.
  • Ensure required training assignments are completed and documented in QCBD and Horizon systems.
  • Maintain accurate training records and follow up on overdue training requirements.
  • Assist with onboarding and training coordination as needed.
Operational Support
  • Collaborate with Production, Operations, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Provide quality guidance and support to production personnel.
  • During available time, assist production operations as needed while maintaining quality and food safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
