United Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse Coordinator for a nursing job in Norwich, New York.

The Coordinator of Nursing Administration provides high-level administrative and operational support to Nursing Administration leadership to ensure efficient day to day operations and effective coordination across nursing departments.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum Required:

    • Associate’s degree in administrative support or related field and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a program/project level providing administrative support

    Preferred:

    • Five (5) years of experience working at an Executive Management level

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field, i.e., Healthcare Administration, Communications

    • Previous hospital experience

    • Previous administrative experience

    License/Certification 

    Minimum Required: 

    • Not Applicable 

    Preferred: 

    • Notary Public 

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary administrative liaison for Nursing Administration leadership, coordinating communications, scheduled and priorities.

  • Manages complex calendars, schedules meetings and coordinates appointments for nursing leaders, including internal meetings, committees, and external engagements.

  • Prepares agendas, meeting materials, presentations, and reports; records and distributes meeting minutes as required.

  • Maintains organized electronic and paper filing systems, including records related to committees, contracts, policies, and correspondence.

  • Provides administrative support for nursing committees, councils, and special projects, including coordination of meeting logistics and documentation.

  • Assists with preparation and tracking of reports, metrics, statistics, and data required by Nursing Administration.

  • Supports department operations by coordinating office supplies, equipment, subscriptions, and inventory control.

  • Interfaces with internal departments (Human Resources, Finance, Quality, Compliance, IT, etc.) to facilitate nursing administrative needs.

  • Assists with onboarding coordination for new nursing leaders and administrative staff as directed.

  • Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment when handling sensitive personnel, labor, operational, and organizational information.

  • Supports compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements related to Nursing Administration.

  • Serves as a divisional timekeeper for Nursing Administration.

  • Provides backup administrative coverage within Nursing Administration as needed.

  • Performs additional administrative and coordinator‑level duties in support of Nursing Administration as assigned.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in an office environment and meeting rooms which require working in proximity to other employees. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
  • Frequent sitting and regular walking or standing
  • PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
