Position Overview

This position is ONLY available for current or previous Apartment Life coordinators. 

We are seeking a Program Employee to serve as an Events & Ministry Coordinator, providing support across multiple apartment communities in the Nashville metro area. This role helps maintain program consistency, resident engagement, and overall program excellence for long-term offsite programs or short-term while we identify an onsite team for a community.

This position requires strong organization, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple programs and changing priorities simultaneously. The ideal candidate is dependable, relational, adaptable, and comfortable coordinating events across a variety of community settings.

Events & Ministry Coordinators help create an exceptional Apartment Life experience for residents and onsite staff by planning engaging events, fostering meaningful connections, and providing a caring, consistent presence within each community. Through these efforts, Coordinators help residents experience genuine hospitality, belonging, and support.

We are seeking mission-minded individuals who enjoy meeting new people, planning social activities, and helping others experience God's unconditional love through practical care and intentional community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Event Coordination

  • Oversee approximately 6-8 programs with 1-2 monthly events per program
  • Plan and execute event logistics, including scheduling, communication, vendor coordination, and onsite support
  • Ensure programs are organized, engaging, and aligned with Apartment Life standards
  • Create and distribute marketing materials, including flyers, calendars, and social media content
  • Track participation, complete basic reporting, and communicate updates to internal teams
  • Manage event budgets and related administrative processes
  • Proactively solve problems and adapt quickly to changing program needs

Community Engagement

  • Build positive relationships with residents, volunteers, onsite staff, vendors, and community partners
  • Foster a welcoming and engaging environment within each community
  • Encourage resident participation and help connect residents to one another
  • Provide a consistent, caring presence throughout assigned communities
  • Support volunteer recruitment and coordination to maximize program impact
Scheduling & Capacity Expectations
  • Minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Up to 19 hours per week
  • $23 per hour
  • Schedule will vary based on program needs and may include evenings and weekends
  • Hours should be used efficiently to support assigned communities and events
  • Program load may vary depending on complexity, travel requirements, and community needs
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally throughout the Nashville metro area and suburbs are required
Required Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Currently or previously served as an Apartment Life Coordinator
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple locations
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current liability insurance
  • Basic fluency in English, including the ability to create marketing materials and complete reports
  • Physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for resident events and programming
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience coordinating events, programs, or community engagement activities
  • Experience managing budgets and administrative processes
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing practices
  • Existing network of local volunteers, vendors, or community partners
  • Previous Apartment Life Coordinator experience is a plus, but not required
