Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Program Engineering Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of Parsons' Federal Solutions team providing Systems Engineering Technical Assistance to the Ground-based Midcourse Dense (GMD) Product Office under the Teams-Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering (TN-MDSE) contract managed by the Missile Defense Agency.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide Systems Engineering expertise and knowledge
  • Provide Systems Engineering analysis and process management
  • Conduct independent technical and programmatic assessment
  • Coordinate with program contracting officials on future and ongoing contract activities
  • Provide technical assistance to MDA/GMR leadership in ongoing and future acquisitions
  • Develop products, such as Technical Direction Letters and Technical Instructions, for ongoing program activities and projects
  • Provide technical assistance during GMD program coordination or events with Combatant Commands, U.S. Army, and other DoW components
  • Advise program leaders on technical risks that impact cost, schedule and performance
  • Assist the GMD Readiness program by facilitating the integration of GMD weapons system component upgrades, including coordination of installation, testing and operations & sustainment
  • Assist GMD program leaders with the integration of GMD sensors and the overall GMD program
  • Apply Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to future and ongoing acquisition activities

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Master's degree and 12+ years relevant experience supporting complex DoW Weapon Systems OR a Bachelor's degree and 20+ years relevant experience supporting complex DoW Weapon Systems
  • Active SECRET clearance required, with eligibility for TS/SCI (as required)
  • Demonstrated technical and/or programmatic experience supporting GMD and MDA Ground/Sea-based Sensors
  • Creative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of analysts with different perspectives and objectives
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical audience, both orally and written
  • Advanced knowledge of FAR part 15 & 16
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, TEAMS)
  • Working knowledge of Milestone Professional software

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Demonstrated experience with GMD Ground Systems
  • Demonstrated experience implementing systems engineering "V" processes
  • Understanding of the MDA organization
  • Understanding of Contracting Officer Representative responsibilities
