Job description

About Obvio AI
Each year, more than 40,000 people in the U.S. leave home and never make it back due to traffic crashes. At Obvio, we believe these deaths are preventable. We deploy solar-powered, AI-assisted cameras to enforce traffic laws where pedestrians are most vulnerable-automating enforcement in ways that traditional systems cannot. Our approach has already led to a 50% reduction in reckless driving in early partner cities.
Founded by the team behind Motive's AI dashcam and backed by Bain Capital Ventures and Khosla Ventures, we are building the intelligence layer for safer streets globally.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Program Coordinator / Customer Success Coordinator to support our operations across the DMV region. This role serves as the bridge between court operations, customer success, and program implementation, ensuring operational excellence while building strong relationships with customers, court stakeholders, and community partners.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working directly with customers and public sector partners, and is comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with field-based engagement.
What You'll Do
Court Operations:
• Print, organize, and deliver court dockets to designated court locations.
• Lead court proceedings as a company representative to support operational needs.
• Coordinate with court personnel regarding schedules, documentation, and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of court activities and case-related documentation.
• Assist with day-to-day court logistics and ensure timely communication between internal teams and court stakeholders. Work closely with internal (support, ticketing ops) and external (municipalities and courts) stakeholders for seamless court operations.
• Support ongoing improvements to court processes and operational workflows.
Customer Success & Community Engagement:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Attend customer meetings, public events, town halls, and community engagement activities.
• Assist with customer communications, follow-up actions, and issue resolution.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate insights to internal teams to improve products and services.
• Represent the organization professionally at external events and meetings.
• Work closely with Law Enforcement Officers to understand their requirements and how we can serve them best.
• Coordinate customer onboarding activities and ensure successful implementation of new programs.
• Maintain organized digital records and documentation repositories.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in customer success, program coordination, operations, or a related client-facing role, ideally within government, legal, public sector, or regulated industries
  • Prior experience working with or alongside courts, law enforcement, municipal agencies, or other government stakeholders is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage detailed administrative processes (documentation, scheduling, records management) with a high degree of accuracy and organization
  • Comfort operating in a hybrid role that spans desk-based coordination and in-person, field-based engagement - including regular local travel to court locations and community events across the DMV region
  • Experience representing an organization professionally in external-facing settings (meetings, town halls, public events, or similar community engagement)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse stakeholders - from customers to court personnel to law enforcement officers
  • A track record of juggling multiple priorities and shifting logistics in a fast-paced environment without losing attention to detail
  • Proficiency with digital record-keeping and documentation tools (e.g., shared drives, CRM or case management systems)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, given the travel requirements across the region
  • Bonus: familiarity with local court systems, DMV processes, or public safety/traffic enforcement programs

Why Obvio
  • Your work will help save lives and improve road safety
  • Series A of $22M led by Bain Capital
  • Fast-moving startup environment with meaningful ownership
  • Competitive compensation and early-stage equity
