Job description

Location: 3331 Mount Lehman Rd, Abbotsford, V2T 5M1

Shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm

We are on the hunt for a motivated, analytical problem-solver to join our production team! The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting and developing our production projects aimed at increasing efficiency and process improvement. You will support Production Supervisors and work closely with the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and process driven. You will be employed at our Brampton distribution facility and will report to the Operations Manager.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for:

  • Create weekly production documents for receiving, staging, production, and shipping
  • Review customer error calls relevant to production to measure & track quality, accuracy, and pick metrics along with identifying error trends to improve defined metrics
  • Run weekly printing operations for logistics, product and marketing materials
  • Manage weekly maintenance of printers, keep track of printing materials, and weekly purchases
  • Conduct daily 5S, process, and facility readiness checks
  • Coordinate with ops team, suppliers and contractors to implement corrective & preventive action plan
  • Assist Production Manager and Production Supervisor on day-to-day tasks as required
  • Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations.
  • Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 0-2 years of experience coordinating production in a fulfillment/distribution center; preferably within Food & Beverage industry
  • Quantitative and analytical experience - must have proficiency using MS Excel and G-Suite Apps
