Job description

Gateway Resources supports people with intellectual disabilities to live their best life. We walk alongside our participants to support, encourage and advocate. 
We are looking for a dynamic leader to fill the role of Day Program Coordinator in our Day Services department. The successful candidate will be a proven leader who inspires and directs staff and managers. They are insightful and driven to find new and creative ways to lead a team in providing opportunities to grow and develop the skills of our participants. This person works closely with 4 management teams to develop job skills and find meaningful opportunities within the community for our participants. Must have a willingness to lead a team through strong communication and team building approaches including coaching and mentoring. Reporting to the Day Services Director, the Program Coordinator works to provide guidance, plan and collaborate on all areas of programming within the Day Services. 
Qualifications:
 Must have education and or experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities
 Management experience is an asset
 Provide a clear Criminal Reference and adult abuse registry check
 Have a Manitoba Drivers license and access to a vehicle
 Have 1st Aid and CPR or willingness to train
Position is Monday to Friday from 8:30-4:30 with some variations required.
