Registered Nurse - 1:1 Community-Based

$39.00/hour | Full-Time | 1st Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care for a young woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting. This full-time role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about person-centered care and helping individuals achieve greater independence.

You will support her health, safety, and daily living both in a private home and during community activities, building a consistent and trusting relationship.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess the individual's health status; communicate observations to supervisor and family.

  • Promote overall health and wellness through nursing best practices.

  • Foster open, respectful communication with the person supported and their family.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs.

  • Assist with community outings and daily activities.

  • Administer and track medications as prescribed.

  • Monitor and document seizure activity.

  • Accompany the individual to medical appointments as needed.

  • Attend all required state and agency trainings.


Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing).

  • Valid Rhode Island RN license required.

  • Proof of vaccinations in accordance with RIDOH guidelines.

Schedule & Pay

Full-Time 40 hours | 1st Shift

Flexible hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $39.00/hour
