Summary: Provides basic support to assigned program. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

· Maintains donation storage areas by keeping inventory, organizing shelves, and distributing goods to clients.

· Schedules donation pick-up and assists with on-site deliveries.

· Ensures that all working areas are kept clean and organized.

· Delivers quality customer service in person and over the telephone.

· Follows up promptly to all program inquiries.

· Completes all data entry as assigned by supervisor.

· Effectively communicates all pertinent program information to other staff members.

· Assists with guidance and support to all program volunteers as directed by supervisor.

· Prepares and replenishes all reports, rosters, forms, and other program documentation as required.

· Facilitates timely maintenance, inspections and registration renewals for program vehicles when applicable to the program.

· In certain programs, this position is responsible for setting up homes for clients and ensuring they are move-in ready.

· Provides transportation to clients for medical, dental and mental health appointments, recreational outings, emergencies and other activities as needed and coordinated by the staff.

· Coordinate medical and dental appointments and insurance verifications for assigned clients.

· Represents the Agency in the community and workplace in a professional and ethical manner.

· Demonstrates sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

· Demonstrates strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral, and written skills.

· Utilizes a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent is required with one year of related experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs frequently.
