Job Description
Salary range for this position is $75K-$87K
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual who is passionate about creating fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for children ages 5-12. This role is responsible for supervising groups of children while maintaining a staff-to-child ratio of no more than 1:20. The ideal candidate will design and lead age-appropriate activities, prepare materials for both indoor and outdoor programs, and foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. A natural ability to be patient, nurturing, and attentive is essential. Strong communication skills, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset are highly valued. A genuine appreciation for and understanding of Hawaii's culture, history, and traditions is also important to help create meaningful and culturally respectful experiences for participants.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree OR Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
  • Minimum of 24 months of related work experience.
  • Minimum of 6 months of related work experience with school-aged children.
  • Must clear a local and national criminal background check and anything required for the DHS Licensing process.
  • Knowledge of and comfortable sharing our Hawaiian Culture.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have knowledge in Microsoft Word, G Suite, Gmail, and Cloud.
  • Ability to become certified in First Aid and Pediatric CPR.
  • Ability to become Lifeguard Certified.
