Job Description

This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position.

The Aviation Program Coordinator in collaboration with the WCTE Director will coordinate the development, scheduling and delivery of the Aviation program

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships (Engage and inform stakeholders to include regional aviation partners)

  • Ensure curriculum aligns with FAA requirements under FAA Part 141

  • Develop standard curriculum and syllabi for each class

  • Identify and secure appropriate facilities

  • Work with regional agencies/WNC to execute MOU's

  • Ensure WNC utilizes facilities safely and in accordance with established MOUs

  • Work with the division director to develop semester schedules and instructional needs

  • Work with division director to develop a realistic program plan and budget such that funding can be requested/sough to support program sustainability

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Aviation or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university. Experience in developing curriculum around Aviation courses, including all three ground school courses
