Job description

Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support program and corporate management in overseeing an enterprise level technical team under the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex.ย  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and maintain a comprehensive, pro-active, integrated program management that focuses on meeting or exceeding government requirements and ensures compliance with mandatory, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Integrate and coordinate all activities needed to execute the requirement.
  • Manage the timeliness, completeness, and quality of problem identification.
  • Provide corrective action plans, proposal submittals, timely identification of issues, and effective management of subcontractors.
  • Provide overall management, supervision, staff, and services necessary to execute requirements of this contract, which include, but not limited to hiring all Contractor staff; ensuring employees are qualified, certified, retained, and terminated; compliance with and adherence to all laws, directives, and regulations of the U.S. Government.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and professional and ethical behavior of all Contractors.
  • Implement production, delivery, and support of all components required under the contract.
Qualifications

5+ years experience providing project or program management support for enterprise IT programs.ย  Bachelor's degree in a related field.ย  Must be Security+ certified (or hold an equivalent certification to meet IAT II requirements).ย  Strong technical background in an IT or engineering field.ย  Experience preparing and analyzing documents/tasks and developing complex project schedules for tracking resources and other management activities.ย  Experience performing complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues, which would require a report and recommend solution.ย  Experience developing work breakdown structures, charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems and trend analysis.ย  Experience with DoD systems and military protocols.ย  Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization.ย  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
