Job description

Family Guidance Center Head Start/Early Head Start is seeking candidates for a full-time Program Aide at the JR Foster Head Start/ Early Head Start Center located in Wetumpka, AL.

The Program Aide will work collaboratively with Teachers, Assistant Teachers and family members to ensure the successful operation of a classroom of children and implement the curriculum to achieve outcomes for children of all abilities.

Required qualifications for the position are a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or enrolled in a program to complete CDA within a year of hire. Previous experience working with children 0-5 years of age required.

All Family Guidance Center Head Start and Early Head Start employees, and all other Family Guidance Center contractors, and volunteers who regularly perform work within our Program must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be approved for a medical or religious exemption from COVID-19 vaccination as a reasonable accommodation.
