Job description

Salary - $32,632

Position Purpose

ย  Supporting students with toileting and feeding needs; supporting instruction and implementing programs/lesson plans created by the Special Education Teacher; escorting students to and from pick up/drop off locations during arrival and dismissal; supporting and implementing behavior plans as directed by BCBA and/or classroom teacher.ย 

Qualifications

-ย  High school diploma required with associates degree or higher preferred

-ย  Experience working with children/students

-ย  Experience assisting in program implementation

-ย  Ability to work with professional staff

-ย  Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.

Additional Duties:

-ย  Support students with disabilities in inclusive and substantially separate settings
- ย Needs to assist with a behavior plan implementation

- Provide academic support as needed
- May need to support feeding and toileting need
- Monitoring for attention, work completion and social navigation
-Perform duties as assigned by school administration
- Other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher
