Position Overview 


We are looking for a motivated and organized Administrative Intern to support our team at Southern Landscape Group, Inc. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in business operations within a fast-paced industry. The intern will work closely with office staff to ensure smooth day-to-day administrative functions while also supporting the needs of our sales, production, and marketing teams as needed. 



Responsibilities 


Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional manner 

Assist with client notifications and communications 

Maintain and update client records, contracts, and service files 

Support invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping tasks using company software 

Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documents as needed 

Help manage vendor receivables  

Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee file maintenance  

Provide general office support including filing, data entry, and organizing documents 

Support social media or marketing tasks as assigned 



Qualifications 


Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business Administration, Office Management, Communications, or a related field 

Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace 

Highly organized with strong attention to detail 

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment 

Interest in the landscaping, horticulture, or outdoor services industry is a plus 

Prior administrative or customer service experience is preferred but not required
