Job description

CPT is seeking a Program Analyst III to support the Gun Weapon Systems Division (E30) at NSWC Dahlgren. This role directly supports U.S. Navy gun weapon system development, evaluation, and sustainment programs in a collaborative, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities * Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives for E30 Gun Weapon Systems programs.
* Develop life cycle cost analyses and perform cost-benefit or economic evaluations of current and projected programs.
* Develop and maintain program reporting systems, including specifications, data gathering, analytical techniques, and evaluation methodology.
* Analyze new or proposed legislation, regulations, and requirements to determine impact on program operations and engineering design.
* Develop management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology.
* Analyze and evaluate proposed changes in mission or operating procedures and prepare relevant documentation.
* Prepare and maintain program schedules, briefings, and status reports for government stakeholders.
* Support coordination between engineering, contracts, and program management teams in alignment with E30 mission objectives. Requirements * 5–8 years of general experience with at least 4 years of specialized experience in program analysis.
* Demonstrated experience analyzing program effectiveness and developing cost analyses or economic evaluations.
* Experience developing program reporting systems and gathering/interpreting analytical data.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Active Secret clearance required.
Desired Skills & Experience * Experience supporting Navy or DoD Gun Weapon Systems programs.
* Familiarity with NSWC Dahlgren or naval surface warfare program offices.
* Experience with Navy financial and reporting tools (e.g., eCRAFT, N-ERP).
