Job Title: Senior Performance Profiling Engineer - Electrical Engineer (Android / AR/VR) Duration: 6-12+ months

Job Description:

You would be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of mobile/android apps. Ideal candidate will have experience working on products.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ year experience on mobile performance profiling. Profiling a mobile application enables developers to identify whether or not an app is fully optimized (i.e., effectively using resources like memory, graphics, CPU, etc.) to avoid any performance issues like memory crashes and slow response times.
  • Experience designing and performing system-level analysis of mobile SoC architectures for AR/VR devices, applications
  • Performance analysis - CPUs, GPUs, memory subsystems etc.
  • Proficient on Python and shell scripts (Will accept SQL)
  • Experience working with profiling tools such as perfetto, ftrace, atrace etc..
    • Able to use perfetto tool to query power and performance information
    • Traces from customers
      • Extract information from the trace
