Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Professor of Instruction will be expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate level depending on needs and qualifications. In addition to teaching the appointee will perform service duties in the Department of Management to assist curriculum development and student success in the College of Business.
Required Qualifications
A Master's degree in HR or a Related Field at an AACSB accredited university is required to be considered. We seek individuals who are dedicated to student success and work well in a collegial, interdisciplinary department.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have their PhD in management, strategic management, human resources, organizational behavior, or a related field. Preferred candidates will have HR experience and teaching experience.
Special Conditions for Eligibility Department Information
The Department of Management is an interdisciplinary group of researchers and scholarly practitioners within the College of Business. We support BBA, MBA, HCAD, MSHRM, EMBA, and PhD programs with classes in general management, leadership, entrepreneurship, international management, human resource management, and strategy. Our department is research active with recent publications in top-tier management outlets, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, and Journal of Business Venturing.
