About the Position
The Department of Education prepares educators and practitioners who are committed to equity, inclusion, and student success through reflective, socially just, and practice-informed education.
The Adjunct Professor in Education delivers high-quality undergraduate and graduate instruction that bridges theory and professional practice, supporting adult learners through equity-centered, constructivist, and trauma-informed pedagogy.
Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate Education and Special Education courses.
  • Engage adult learners through inclusive pedagogy.
  • Assess student learning and maintain records.
  • Foster respectful and supportive learning environments.
  • Communicate professionally with students and academic leadership.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in Education.
  • Knowledge of educational theory, curriculum development, and effective teaching practices in higher education.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in an online format using a Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas).

Preferred Qualifications
