Job description

Sarver Tree Care, a division of Sarver Landscape, is hiring a Tree Crew Leader to guide our team through a variety of exciting tree care projects. If you thrive outdoors, enjoy leading others, and take pride in high-quality work, this is the opportunity for you!

 

What You’ll Do

·       Lead and manage a crew of tree care professionals on pruning, removal, and specialty projects.

·       Assign daily tasks and ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.

·       Foster crew growth by training team members in safe work practices, climbing techniques, and arboriculture skills.

·       Complete Job Site Hazard Analysis forms daily with input from the crew and enforce proper use of PPE and climbing equipment.

·       Inspect work for quality, safety, and adherence to industry standards.

·       Perform hands-on tree work, including climbing, rigging, pruning, removals, and planting.

·       Maintain and inspect tools, chainsaws, rigging and climbing gear, and vehicles.

·       Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients.

·       Track crew hours and report job progress to Management.

·       Support other divisions as needed to contribute to overall company success.

 

What We’re Looking For

·       Minimum 5 years of professional tree care experience, including climbing and rigging.

·       Proven leadership experience in tree care.

·       Strong knowledge of tree biology, pruning techniques, and industry safety standards (ANSI A300, OSHA).

·       Ability to safely operate chainsaws, chippers, and other tree care equipment.

·       Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·       Passion for mentoring and developing crew members’ skills.
