What You Can Expect

As a Packaging Specialist, you'll support the production of overthecounter (OTC) pharmaceutical products by:

  • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manufacturing orders, and cleaning checklists in compliance with cGMP regulations

  • Operating computercontrolled equipment using an Operator Interface Terminal (OIT)

  • Performing inprocess testing, visual inspections, and documenting results accurately

  • Handling materials using pallet jacks and performing basic utility tasks

  • Cleaning and preparing equipment and packaging lines using manual and automated processes

  • Completing minor equipment servicing, including disassembly, reassembly, and setup

This role requires working around potential allergens, including: Omeprazole, Esomeprazole, Lansoprazole, Pantoprazole, Rabeprazole, Famotidine, Loratadine, Guaifenesin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Nicotine, and Natural Flavorings

Experience Required

Training is provided - we just need your willingness to learn.

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills

  • Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed

  • Ability to train on various shifts

  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent attendance and work history

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • 6 months-1 year of direct manufacturing experience

  • 1-2 years of general manufacturing experience

  • 3-4 years of nonmanufacturing work experience

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently: stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend, squat, kneel, twist, grasp, and move boxes

  • Occasionally: push/pull up to 880 lbs. with skid jacks, reach overhead

  • Rarely: lift up to 25 lbs. above shoulders
