Student Office Assistant (Fall 2026)
Job no: 493924

Location: Norman

Pay Range: Target Salary of $10.00/hour, based on education and experience.
Benefits Eligible: No
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Approximately 10-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • The supervisor will work with each student employee to establish a schedule that accommodates their class schedule.

Travel: Not required
Position Introduction:
The Student Office Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office. This position offers students an opportunity to gain professional office experience while assisting with the day-to-day operations, activities, and events of the Dean's Office.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Dean's Office.
  • Assist with routine administrative tasks, including copying, data entry, filing, creating and organizing folders, checking and maintaining office resources, and keeping shared workspaces clean and organized.
  • Assist with the setup, breakdown, and cleanup of meetings, events, and other College activities.
  • Assist with the setup, organization, and storage of office and event equipment and materials.
  • Run occasional campus errands related to Dean's Office and College operations.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
