Job Description and Requirements

The Learning and Development Trainer I will learn, present, and master Trainer I level curriculum to employees in a formal classroom setting, as well as create a working knowledge of the Learning and Development departmental work-flows.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide enthusiastic, professional, and quality training to new and existing employees

  • Teach new and existing employees how to recommend products and services to members to enhance their quality of life

  • Maintain current working knowledge of the RBFCU member handbook, policy and procedures and information contained on the intranet

  • Travel as required

  • All other duties as assigned (note: essential functions and responsibilities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • Less than one year of training/education experience

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher

Preferred:

  • A degree in Adult Learning, Education, or Human Resources related field

  • Financial institution experience
