Elite Career Institute of Texas is committed to providing high-quality technical education and career training. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced HVACR Instructor to join our team and support students.

Job Description:

As an HVACR Instructor, you will teach and mentor students in all aspects of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems. You will provide classroom instruction, hands-on training, and curriculum support to help prepare students for successful careers in the HVACR industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction to a diverse student population.
  • Teach HVACR theory in the classroom and diagnostics, maintenance, installation and repair using a hands-on approach in the lab.
  • Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with program standards.
  • Monitor student progress and provide support and guidance.
  • Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and teaching practices.

Qualifications:

  • HVAC certification (EPA 608 required; NATE certification preferred).
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of HVACR industry experience.
  • Light woodworking construction experience beneficial but not required.
  • Previous teaching or training experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor adult learners.
