Job description

An established upscale/casual high volume restaurant is currently seeking a Chef / Line Cook and other BOH positions for full-time or part time employment. Experience is preferred and candidates must be willing to work mornings, days and weekends. Catering background is also beneficial but not a must.
This professional cook must be driven, organized, reliable, honest, hard working, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment. If hired, you will be expected to master each functional station in our kitchen.
Qualifications:
*Must be willing to adhere to standards set by the Owner.
* Must be able to work with a culturally diverse culinary team.
*Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Job Requirements: 
*Experience in running all kitchen operations, including food cost, inventory, purchasing, preparation, quality control, menu costing, staffing and training. 
*Maintain consistency and standards set forth.
* Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
*Knowledge of local health, safety and sanitation regulations. ServSafe Certification a plus. 
*Thorough working knowledge of systems and techniques used to control food and labor costs.
