Job Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in product management, software development, project management, a related technical field and/or running technical projects/programsโ€ฏ.
  • Experience in translating business requirements to high level technical requirements.โ€ฏ
  • Experience building and leading a world-class team of technical productโ€ฏmanagers with a mission to power real-time, intelligent experiences for our customers and associates.
  • Experience planning requirements, identifying risks, managing project schedules, and communicating clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.ย 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of product management principles and best practices โ€“ familiar in hospitality, eCommerce and/or Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated success managing web and mobile projects that require in-depth partnership with IT/technical counterparts and integration with back-end systems/data.
  • Strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams with the ability to coach and mentor regardless of reporting relationships.
  • Strategic mindset to define product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Understanding of business dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in technical concepts relevant to the product domain.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate product vision, strategy, and requirements.
  • Project management skills to plan, track, and execute product initiatives.
  • Ability to address complex problems and make sound judgments to drive project success.ย 

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead project planning, tracking, and coordination efforts. Ensure project milestones are met and resources are managed effectively.
  • Feature Development: Define and prioritize product features based on business value and user needs. Drive the development and delivery of high-quality product features.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, requirements, and priorities. Communicate product updates and solicit feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Requirements & User Stories: Gather, analyze, and document detailed product requirements. Create clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Issue Management: Proactively identify and address project issues and risks. Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Technical Aptitude: Demonstrate a solid technical understanding of the product domain. Guide technical discussions and contribute to problem-solving efforts. Understand and contribute to technical architecture, design and implementation.
  • Metrics / Analytics: Understand, contribute to and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives. Analyze metrics and analytics data to assess product performance and user engagement. Use data-driven insights to optimize product functionality.ย
