Job description

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, American Hockey League affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are seeking a Video Production Intern for the 2026-27 hockey season.
As part of the Phantoms Creative Department, the Video Production Intern will report to the Senior Manager of Game Presentation and work closely with the Senior Video Manager to help develop and execute projects, utilizing creativity and video production/post-production skills. They will have the opportunity to learn how to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously in a fast-paced sports and entertainment organization and meet strict deadlines.
The Video Production Intern will not be required to work during Phantoms games or PPL Center events. Normal office hours are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Housing and Transportation will not be provided.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with the Phantoms Creative and Marketing Departments to create materials for promotional, marketing, sales, and advertising campaigns
  • Capture and edit video footage
  • Organize game day media (videos, etc.)
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects associated with the new Lehigh Valley MASL soccer team debuting in December 2026
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or currently pursuing), preferably in Video Production, Media Arts, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud - particularly Premiere Pro and Media Encoder (familiarity with additional programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom and After Effects are beneficial)
  • Familiarity with cameras, lighting, and audio
  • Basic understanding of sports and hockey is preferred but not required
  • Prior experience managing projects and completing tasks with strict deadlines
