Wieland is hiring a CNC Production Machinist. The CNC Production Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills, interpreting parts prints, using manual gauging, and meeting production rates and quality standards is helpful; however, training is provided for qualified individuals.
. This role is located in Coldwater, Ohio and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $27.31 - $31.47
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:00PM-3:00AM (training period 7:00AM-5:00PM)
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Responsibilities
CNC Production Machinist Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet print or process requirements.
  • Record inspection data and report deviations or defects promptly.
  • Follow and maintain quality control procedures.

CNC Production Machinist Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year CNC Experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
