Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview

The Sales Coordinator ensures customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from purchase order receipt through production scheduling and fulfillment. This role serves as the link between sales, customers, and operations, maintaining order accuracy, process compliance, and timely execution.


Fully Onsite M-F in Ashland, VA. Contract-to-hire with excellent benefits upon conversion to a permanent role.


Key Responsibilities

Order Management

  • Manage the centralized orders inbox and prioritize incoming requests.
  • Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter and maintain orders in SAP with a high level of accuracy.
  • Verify pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
  • Coordinate order release into production schedules.
  • Resolve order discrepancies and maintain accurate documentation.


Sales & Customer Support

  • Provide order status updates to sales and customers.
  • Communicate order confirmations, changes, and follow-ups.
  • Support order modifications and ensure smooth execution from sales to operations.


Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and purchasing teams.
  • Monitor orders and schedules to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Maintain clear internal communication and support process improvements.
