Behind every great meal is a powerful engine—our Haymarket Commissary. We are looking for a Commissary Production Manager to be the operational mastermind of our production hub. If you are a disciplined leader who loves creating order, finding precise solutions, and driving high-quality execution, this role is for you!
The Impact You’ll Make
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will lead our production teams to achieve key business goals:
  • Flawless Production: Build accurate plans aligned with retail, cafe, wholesale, and catering demand to ensure on-time fulfillment with minimal waste.
  • Gold-Standard Safety: Maintain facility compliance with internal quality standards and FDA Food Code regulations.
  • Streamlined Operations: Keep production teams operating with high clarity, accountability, and smooth cross-functional engagement.
Core Responsibilities
  • Scheduling amp; Tech: Coordinate production for Savory, Beverage, Packaging, and Bakeshop teams, and manage orders using inFlow Inventory.
  • Team Leadership: Coach department managers, support staff scheduling, and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Financial amp; Quality Control: Control labor and food costs to reduce waste, run weekly health inspections, and maintain strict SOP and HACCP records.
  • Vendor Relations: Oversee ordering and inventory replenishment across top-tier platforms.
  • Sync the Logistics: Align kitchen production timelines with catering schedules, retail demand, and delivery capacities.

Qualifications amp; Requirements
  • Background: Minimum 5 years in high-volume food production and 3+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Education: High school diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5+ years of equivalent multi-department management experience).
  • Certifications amp; Tools: ServSafe Food Manager Certification required (or ability to acquire within 30 days), HACCP preferred. Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems, preferably inFlow Inventory.
  • Physical amp; Travel: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying temperatures, and maintain a valid driver's license for commuting needs.
