Description: This position serves as relief support staff and general equipment operations throughout the print and packaging department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
โ€ข Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, packaging, GMP's etc.
โ€ข Maintain proper documentation in all record keeping formats
โ€ข Operate Rothenberg, chipping, bulk packer, and rework equipment (Melter/Sepamatic) at an efficient level to fulfill plant demands.
โ€ข Serve as relief/support staff to machine operators throughout the print and packaging department.
โ€ข Serve as relief/support staff for Par Room Forklift Operator.
โ€ข Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.
โ€ข Backfill to other positions/departments as needed.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Food manufacturing, material handling, and forklift operation experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain a valid forklift operator's license.
