Production Planner
Indianapolis, IN, United States req28041 12-hour shift, Nights: 7:00PM - 7:30AM
What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will be responsible for day-to-day customer contact,working closely with plant personnel toschedule customer orders and respond to customer inquiries
  • You will maintain current inventory counts for each of thedifferent steps in the process, utilizing both Oracle as well as physicalinventory processes
  • You will be responsible for producing the daily productionschedules, working closely with plant personnel and production to activelyresolve issues
  • You will be required to work with production management toset schedules, identifying and resolving potential impediments to schedules
  • Also, you will be required to maintain an ongoing relationshipwith customers including delivery schedules, issue resolution and work in adynamic team focused environment

What makes you great
  • You have a High School Diploma
  • Previous Customer Service experience (2-4 years) is preferred
  • 5+ years operations experience required, specifically withcoatings processes desired
  • You demonstrate ability to work with many business functionsrequired
  • Strong computer skills (specifically Word, Excel, Oracle)
  • General knowledge of technical requirements is desired
  • Previous Oracle experience & knowledge required
