We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Planner to act as a key liaison between our organization and material/parts suppliers. This role is responsible for ordering inbound materials and ensuring a continuous flow to support production without interruption.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Job Responsibilities
  • Create and manage purchase orders using inventory data to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure uninterrupted material flow to manufacturing while avoiding overstock and waste.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to support delivery timelines
  • Conduct research, inventory analysis, and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues using root cause analysis
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Partner with operations to align production and material availability
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Health, Safety & Environmental programs
  • Maintain and promote 5S standards in the work area

  • Associate's Degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; automotive industry experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with databases and MRP systems preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes
