Job description

Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engineโ€™s speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost.

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Centennial, Colorado facility.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, is highly organized, and is comfortable working directly with production supervisors, technicians, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve issues that impact schedule performance. Success in this role requires urgency, persistence, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to keep hardware flowing. The ideal candidate enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, solving problems in real time, and driving accountability to production commitments.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Track critical engine assemblies and components through the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor daily production priorities and ensure work orders are progressing according to schedule.
  • Identify and escalate issues that may delay production, including material shortages, quality holds, tooling constraints, documentation issues, and engineering questions.
  • Lead daily production review meetings and communicate schedule priorities.
  • Identify schedule risks, bottlenecks, material shortages, and resource constraints before they impact delivery commitments.
  • Escalate critical issues and drive cross-functional resolution with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Track key performance indicators including schedule attainment, on-time completion, work-in-process inventory, and manufacturing throughput.
  • Ensure production priorities are clearly communicated to supervisors and manufacturing personnel.
  • Coordinate recovery plans when production falls behind schedule.
  • Analyze production data to improve forecasting accuracy and schedule reliability.
  • Support implementation of production planning and ERP/MRP processes.
  • Maintain alignment of MES/ERP systems by ensuring work orders are issued for all demand and validating data integrity of work orders in MES
You have
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree is required (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field).
  • 5 + years in production planning, production control, manufacturing operations, supply chain or industrial engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and production reporting tools.
  • Comfortable working directly on the production floor
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent people skills and adaptable to change, and strong presentation skills to present to upper management
  • Must possess a strong customer service orientation and provide dedicated support of internal customer requirements
  • Must be a strong communicator and possess strong organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities at once
  • Must be able to work well in high pressure, fast-paced environment and be proficient at conflict resolution
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens eligible for a security clearance

In compliance with Coloradoโ€™s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $80,000-$105,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidateโ€™s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
