Without the strength of our Production team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. We’re seeking an experienced Production Control Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Production Control.


As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Production Control, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing process to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products. The Production Controller will also be involved in coordinating various aspects of production, from scheduling and inventory management to quality control and cost analysis.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate machinery to assist in the production process.
  • Assemble materials and equipment as required.
  • Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines.
  • Transport raw materials from one place to another.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control of products.
  • Assist in lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads as required.


REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinates and expedites workflow of personnel and materials according to production schedule.
  • Prepares and maintains monthly build schedule.
  • Coordinates and schedules acceptance/testing of hardware and assemblies.
  • Handles many administrative and logistics tasks within production, including but not limited to the following:
  • Prepares shop orders for machines, assembly, and other work centers.
  • Interfaces with planning, warehouse, engineering, and quality teams as needed to ensure overall program efficiency.
  • Works with subcontract vendors to ensure materials are provided in a timely manner to support schedule.
  • Tracks all internal and external jobs including, but not limited to shop order, purchase orders, outside processing, discrepant materials, & customer deliverable.
  • Some interaction with outside customers.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred Education: AA degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related discipline
  • Preferred Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing and production environment
  • Required Computer skills: Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note
  • Epicor or other ERP experience preferable
