Job description

Job Title: Production Control Specialist

Pay Range : DOE $20–$30 per hour

Job Summary
The Production Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing the flow of materials, schedules, and production processes to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. This role involves coordinating between departments, managing inventory, and ensuring that production targets and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
  • Coordinate material supply and inventory levels to prevent production delays
  • Work with production teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and material shortages
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including materials used, production output, and quality metrics
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Track and report on production performance metrics, such as efficiency and output
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to implement process improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (degree in manufacturing, business, or logistics is a plus)
  • Experience in production control, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel
  • Ability to handle multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or ERP systems
  • Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials management
