Job description

The difference between a door that seals tight and one that rattles comes down to fractions you can barely see. As a Production Associate you will help build custom commercial doors and entry systems that end up in schools, hospitals, factories, and public buildings across the country. This is hands on work in a climate controlled shop where tape measures matter and teamwork is not a slogan. You will read templates, square frames, run equipment, and keep parts moving so the next crew can do their job. If you like steady hours, clear expectations, and the quiet satisfaction of a door that fits right the first time, this will make sense to you.
This Decatur, Michigan manufacturer has been building engineered architectural door systems since 1971. The operation produces fiberglass and aluminum entrance systems for commercial and public projects nationwide and is known for organized production flow, practical leadership, and opportunities to cross train into multiple departments.
Each day you will assemble custom door frames using hand and power tools, read templates and measurements down to 1/32 inch, operate upstream equipment including CNC machinery, inspect parts, and keep product flowing safely to the next stage of production.
